The Time after Machine [2019]

This work explores the kinetic embodiment of time: a body pressed against its flow, resisting and surrendering simultaneously. Through a deep consideration of space, rhythm, music, and physical states, the piece draws inspiration from the image of the machine-man within a production line – an entity trapped in mechanical repetition, yet striving to overthrow itself in search of internal and external freedom.

The performance investigates how movement reveals both oppression and liberation, inviting the audience to witness a continuous negotiation between human fragility and resilience. It questions: what remains of the self when existence becomes automated, and how can one reclaim agency within the relentless machinery of time?
